What you need:

  • 1 tin of full-fat coconut cream.

  • 1 banana.

  • Vanilla essence (optional).

  • Honey (optional).

  • 1 cup of mango nectar.

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple.

  • Juice of 1 orange.

  • Iceblock/popsicle molds.

  • A blender.

What to do:

  1. Ask an adult to help you (or supervise you) chop the banana.

  2. Blend the chopped banana with half a cup of coconut cream until smooth.

  3. For added sweetness, add half a teaspoon of vanilla essence or a teaspoon of honey (optional).

  4. Add the rest of the coconut cream and blend well until smooth.

  5. Fill ¾ of the popsicle moulds with your coco-nana mix.

  6. To help the mix to start to thicken, set aside in the fridge to chill.

  7. Wash and dry your blender.

  8. Blend together the mango syrup, crushed pineapple and the fresh juice of one orange.

  9. Now slow down and relax pouring the Pine-orango mixture very slowly and carefully into the moulds.
Hint: The higher up you pour from, the more your two colours will blend into one. But feel free to experiment and let us know what cool effects you created!

  10. Pop the popsicle handle on and place in the freezer for 3-4 hours or until set.

  11. When ready, run the mould under a warm tap to make it easier to slide out.

  12. Enjoy your ice block outside and, as Baloo says, “look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities of life.”
